1. Scope of the Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the services, websites, applications, and all associated products and functionalities (collectively, the “Services”) provided by Argon Chat (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms form a binding agreement between you (“you” or “your”) and Argon Chat.
By accessing, registering for, or using the Services in any manner—including but not limited to visiting or browsing the websites or applications, creating an account, downloading any application, or submitting content or information—you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Services.
These Terms apply to all users of the Services, including but not limited to account holders, visitors, content creators, administrators, developers, and any other persons who interact with or access the Services.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the “Last Updated” date and, where appropriate, via in-app notification.
Argon Chat is not intended for anyone under the age of 13, or under the minimum age required in your country to consent to data processing. You represent that you meet the applicable age requirement and are otherwise competent to enter into a legally binding agreement.
2. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms:
“Services”
The websites, applications, platforms, and all related products, features, and functionalities provided by Argon Chat.
“User” / “You”
Any person who accesses or uses the Services, including account holders, visitors, content creators, administrators, and developers.
“Content”
Any text, images, videos, audio, or other material uploaded, posted, submitted, or otherwise made available through the Services.
“Account”
The user profile created upon registration, which may include a username, password, and other identifying information.
“Personal Data”
Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person as defined by applicable data protection laws, including GDPR and CCPA.
“Third Party”
Any individual or entity other than Argon Chat or its Users.
“IP Rights”
Patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, moral rights, and any other proprietary rights recognized by law.
“Applicable Law”
All relevant laws and regulations, including but not limited to GDPR (EU), CCPA (US), and Armenian laws.
3. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws. If you are accepting on behalf of a company or legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.
Your use of the Services is also subject to our Privacy Policy, community standards, and any feature-specific terms.
To use the Services, you must:
- Be at least 13 years old, or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction;
- Not be barred from using the Services under applicable law;
- Agree to comply with these Terms and any future modifications.
Clickwrap Acceptance: You accept these Terms by creating an account, clicking “Agree” or “Accept,” or by using the Services in any way. Teams may designate administrators responsible for managing users and compliance.
4. User Accounts and Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Account credentials and for all activity under your Account.
You shall not
- Use another user’s Account without permission
- Use the Services for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate Accounts suspected of unauthorized use or breach of these Terms.
5. Content Ownership and User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of the Content you create and upload.
By submitting Content, you grant Argon Chat a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform the Content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Services.
You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to grant such license and that your Content does not infringe third-party rights. We reserve the right to remove Content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
6. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes. Prohibited conduct includes:
- Posting illegal, harmful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or infringing Content
- Harassing or threatening other Users
- Uploading viruses or malicious code
- Attempting to disrupt or damage the Services
Violations may result in content removal, suspension, or termination of your Account.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
Our collection and use of your Personal Data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
We comply with applicable data protection laws including GDPR, CCPA, and Armenian data protection legislation. Users located in the EU or California have specific rights including access, correction, deletion, and data portability.
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your Personal Data but cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Third-Party Services and Links
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms.
9. Payment, Refunds, and Subscription Terms
If you subscribe to paid features (“Paid Services”):
Billing
All payments are processed securely through third-party processors. You agree to provide accurate billing information and pay all applicable fees, including taxes.
Auto-Renewal
Subscription plans renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Refunds
Refunds are provided only as stated in our Refund Policy or where required by applicable law.
We reserve the right to change pricing with prior notice. Failure to pay may result in suspension of access to Paid Services.
10. Limitations of Liability and Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Argon Chat and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages arising out of your use or inability to use the Services.
We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, nor that any defects will be corrected.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Argon Chat, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims arising out of:
- Your violation of these Terms or applicable laws
- Your Content or conduct on the Services
- Your infringement of any intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity
12. Termination and Suspension
We may suspend or terminate your Account at any time for cause, including:
- Violation of these Terms or applicable laws
- Fraudulent or unlawful activity
- Security risks or abuse
- Upon your request or inactivity
Termination does not relieve you of obligations accrued prior to termination.
13. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising out of these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved informally through good faith negotiations.
If unresolved, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration, unless you opt-out by notifying us within 30 days of acceptance of these Terms.
You waive any right to a jury trial or participation in class actions or representative proceedings.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Armenia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Armenia, except as otherwise required by mandatory law.
15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When material changes occur, we will notify you via the Services or by other reasonable means. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
16. Miscellaneous
Entire Agreement
These Terms and incorporated policies constitute the entire agreement between you and Argon Chat.
Severability
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
Assignment
You may not assign your rights without our consent. We may assign rights freely.
17. Prohibited Automation
Use of bots, automation tools, or scripts to perform harmful or unauthorized activities is strictly prohibited.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Spam or bulk messaging
- Scraping of content or user data
- DDoS attacks
- Unauthorized impersonation
- Uploading or disseminating malware, viruses, or harmful code
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action, including reporting to law enforcement.
18. Content Moderation and Reporting
Users can report content that violates these Terms through the in-app “Report” function or via email:

Abuse Reports
— misuse, threats, or harmful conduct
Reports are reviewed in a queue and do not guarantee action. Repeated false reports may result in account restrictions.
19. Account Inactivity
Accounts inactive for 12 consecutive months may be permanently deleted. Premium subscribers’ data may be retained for up to 1 year after subscription expiration.
You may request deletion of your account at any time through account settings or by contacting support.
20. Open-Source Components
The Services may incorporate components licensed under open-source software licenses. A list of open-source components and their corresponding licenses is available upon request.
21. Children and Minor Protection
We do not permit use of the Services by anyone under 13. We strictly prohibit content or activity that exploits, harms, or endangers children. Any violations will be reported to relevant authorities.
Users from the United States must comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect data from children in violation of applicable laws.
